Venue: Over Community Centre, Over CB24 5NW (Click for map) A girl named Ella (Cinderella) has the purest heart living in a cruel world filled with evil stepsisters and an evil stepmother out to ruin Ella's life. Her poor father (Baron Hardup) is desperate to earn some money, under pressure from his gold digger of a wife (Lady Devilia Hardup) and therefore purchases a 'prize winning' race horse (Dumpling). Much of the Baron's wealth has been wasted on his wife's 'beautiful' daughters (Cheryl & Beryl) and their unusually high spending habits. In order to keep the Baron's estate running smoothly, Buttons manages to persuade two Broker's Men (Snitch & Snatch) to head away from Hardup Hall and into the service of Prince Charming and his companion Dandini, who have swapped identities to help the Prince to find real love. As the Prince's ball approaches (where he will be searching for a new wife) a Fairy Godmother appears to help Ella and allow her to magically attend the ball. But when Midnight strikes, will Ella find her true love, or continue her life of poverty and service? This story is fast-paced, and with a humorous twist. With plenty of chorus involvement, it is sure to be a thigh-slapping, feel-good panto!
