Our 2019 pantomime was 'Aladdin', written by Ben Crocker and directed by Jack Stinton.

Join Aladdin (Kirsty Smillie) for a fun-filled magical adventure from Old Peking to the desert sands of Arabia as he bids to save the beautiful Princess Jasmine (Victoria Richards) from the clutches of the wicked Abanazar (Chas Barclay)

The poor Emperor (Les Wheeler) hasn't a clue what is going on with his hapless police force Sergeant Ping (Jane Beresford) and PC Pong (Jonathon Cardwell).  The Genie of the Ring ( Sheena Grummitt) and Genie of the Lamp (Simon Jones) bring a touch of magic and mayhem to the story.

Expect all the traditional panto ingredients - toe tapping tunes, a laundry-full of laughs with Widow Twankey (Matt Sweeney) and Wishee Washee (Harry Ashby), loads of audience participation - and a very, very badly behaved panda (Jess Turpin)!  It's a genie-us of a pantomime!

This is a show to be enjoyed by all ages, with plenty of hearty laughs to lighten anyone's winter evenings.  Ben Crocker's traditional pantomime is based on the original Arabian Nights tale that has been lovingly re-invented by one of the wittiest and most inventive writers working in pantomime today.

Director and Choreographer Jack Stinton with Production Manager Helen Foster and Musical Director Mike Bernard have created a spectacular show fizzing with energy accompanied by a live band.
